4 days later…
You were changing as the members waited outside in the living room with the WGM camera crew. You wanted to look elegant yet casual and being comfortable didn’t hurt either. You finally settled on wearing a navy blue blouse, black skinny jeans and some boots. You grabbed a trench coat from your closet and walked out of the room.
“So, what do you guys think?” you asked the members as you turned.
“I think you look great,” Jane said.
“You look like you,” Vicki said. You sat down with the members after grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge. You still had time to kill as the staff had told you that your “husband” was flying in at 10 pm. It was just 9. You and the members had just returned from Inkigayo and other schedules.
“So, who do you think your husband’s going to be?” Amy asked.
“I have no idea,” you said after taking a sip of water.
“Well, who do you hope it’s going to be,” Hyuna asked.
“I guess someone I can easily get along with,” you said with a shrug.
“Aw, wouldn’t it be nice if you were paired with Kiseop-oppa?” Nayoung asked.
“Really? Kiseop?” You said.
“Yeah, the two of you would make a good couple,” Hannah said.
“Plus, since you guys already know each other, it won’t have to be awkward,” Vicki pitched in. You thought about it. Sure it would be nice if it was Kiseop. He was funny, sweet, caring, and passionate about what he does. You didn’t even realize that he was your ideal type. Or the fact that he was everything Hoya was too.
“Well,” Jane said, pulling you out of your thoughts. “You have to let us know whether you like him or not. We have to be the first to know.”
“Of course,” you said.
”_______-ah,” your manager called. “Come on, we should get going.”
“Okay,” you said. “Wish me luck guys.” You grabbed your bag and headed out with your manager. The camera men followed along. You got in the car with the cameras already installed. As your manager drove, you couldn’t help but fidget.
“Oppa,” you called your manager. “Who do you think my husband is going to be?”
“I don’t know,” he replied. “But let’s hope he’s someone who will take care of our _____.”
“What should I say to him, when we meet?” you asked, nervous.
“Just be yourself _____-ah,” he said. “Talking will come naturally.” You nodded and stared out the window. You started to wonder about other things like, would he like you? Would the two of you get along? Have you met before? You were so deep in thought that you didn’t even notice that it was getting close to 10, and the airport came into view. Your heart started racing.
“Oh, eottoke,” you said as you took a deep breath. The van parked and the camera man got out first. He handed you a sign with the WGM logo before stepping out. You walked with him to where the taxi drivers waited for their visiting guests. As you walked, you couldn’t help but notice the mob of fans waiting for their favorite idols to arrive.
“Oh, isn’t that SPIRIT’s _____?” you heard someone ask.
“It is! ____-UNNI!” another girl screamed. You turned and smiled as some of them rushed over to you. You walked them back as they asked for your autograph and even took some pictures.
“Who are you guys waiting for?” you asked, hoping to get some insight as to who your husband might be.
“Changmin-oppa and Yunho-oppa,” some girls said. TVXQ was coming back from Jeju Island.
“B1A4-oppas,” other girls said. They were coming back from Japan. The camera man gestured for you to return to the arrival area. You waved goodbye to the fans and walked back to where the taxi drivers waited. You held the sign over your face as you waited. You heart was beating fast. The mob of fans started screaming, and that’s when you knew your “husband was coming. All you could hear was the sound of your heart beating.
“Oh, that’s me,” you heard a familiar voice say. You lowered the sign and stepped back in surprise. You smiled as he had a surprised smile on his face too.
“Oppa!” you said, relieved.
“Annyeong _____-ah,” your husband said. “Or should I say wife?” He smiled and you laughed. You couldn’t believe that you were married to Lee Kiseop of UKISS.
*The end of the “Falling for Hoya” Series. Thank you for reading! Bye~*
A week later…
You had been called to your CEO’s office, so here you were just sitting and waiting for him to call you in. You didn’t even know why you were here. Promotions for the song were going well. You performance was spectacular. Even netizens praised you. Fans named a smirk you had while singing the “got nothing on me,” smile. You were doing well on stage, but off stage and behind the camera, you were still slowly recovering from what happened a week ago. It didn’t help seeing him almost everyday either. He tried calling countless times, but you ignored them all. It even got to the point where you had to ignore all of Infinite’s phone calls. So much for having a third family. The door clicked open and you stood.
“Annyeonghasaeyo sajangnim,” you greeted him.
“Come in ___,” he said. You followed him in and closed the door behind you. You stood. “Sit ___, there’s something I have to talk to you about. First off, how are things going?”
“Promotions are going well and the members and I are having fun with interviews and shows,” you replied sitting.
“I’m glad to hear that,” he said, but he gave you a look. “But that’s not what I meant.”
“What did you mean?” you asked, already knowing the answer. The CEO sighed.
“I heard that you and Infinite’s Hoya are no long together, is this right?”
“That is correct,” you replied.
“I’m sorry,” he said. “And I won’t ask what happened. That’s between you and him. But there’s something I want to discuss with you.”
“What is it?”
“Are you familiar with the show ‘We Go Married’?”
“Yes, I heard about it,” you said. “The show where celebrities couple up and act as if they are married.”
“That’s it exactly. And do you remember the questionaire your manager gave you yesterday?”
“Yes I do.” The questionaire was strange as it asked for interests, ideal type of guy, and things that had to do with dating.
“Well, I signed you up for it, and you were chosen to be the new bride. Shooting starts in four days.”
“I’m sorry sajangnim, but…why?”
“Look ______. I know it’s a bit sudden, but your members and the managers have brought to my attention that they are worried about your health. Besides, the best way to forget is to move on. Trust me ____, you’ll thank me for this later. You can go now.”
“Thank you sajangnim,” you said. You opened the door.
“And don’t forget. Four days,” he added. You nodded and left. You couldn’t believe it. Your CEO was trying to set you up. Sure you were still numb from what happened, but was your CEO right? Would moving on, even if the relationship was fake, be the right thing to do? As the questions floated in your head, one stood out above the rest. Who would your “husband” be?
*We Got Married? Who will your husband be? Only one more part until “Falling for Hoya” is over! The story will continue in the next series! Please stay tuned. Thank you for reading! Feedback, comments, questions? Just go to my ask box. Bye~*
Hoya POV
“Oh hyung, you’re home,” Sungjong said when I came in. I couldn’t respond. I was too numb. I felt empty the entire way home. She’s gone, she’s gone, was all I could think. I stumbled and fell on the floor.
“Hyung, are you okay?” Sungjong asked as he flipped me over.
“She’s gone,” I managed to say as my chest clenched.
“Who’s gone? Rian-noona?” Sungjong asked. “I’m sorry hyung but I liked _____-ah better anyways.” I scoffed. Rian. Rian was a stylist, a rookie at that, who had done my make-up when Infinite had their photoshoot. She was cute I’ll give her that, but she was no ______. But ____ was gone. I turned to look at Sungjong as tears stung my eyes.
“Not Rian Sungjong-ah,” I said, “She’s gone. She’s…gone.” Sungjong’s eyes widened when he realized what I meant. Who I meant. Tears rolled down my face as I cried. My heart breaking, shattering, and I couldn’t stop it. Why did I cheat on her? Why did I make such a huge mistake? Rian. Rian flirted but instead of telling her I wasn’t interested, I flirted back. Rian kept coming, and when _____ texted, I answered her vaguely. Why? Why did I keep Rian around? Was it because Rian was available and she wasn’t? Why? Why did I lean in when Rian kissed me today? Why didn’t I push her away? Why did I choose to throw away the one thing that made me look forward to each passing day? Why did I lie to her when she asked about cheating? Why did I hurt her? Why? The tears flowed more as the questions rattled in my head, as the guilt filled my body.
“I’m sorry hyung,” Sungjong said. Sunggyu came out and sighed. I tried to hold back my tears as I sat up.
“Oh, you’re home,” he said. I wiped away tears and nodded. Sunggyu picked up a box and handed it to me. “Here. _____ gave it to me to throw away. But I saw your name on it, so I thought you should look at it first.” I took the box and almost ripped it apart in my attempt to open it. There was a notebook filled with translations of my favorite songs. As I continued to flip, I found selcas. Our selcas from our dates. My many disguises, but all I saw was her. Her bright eyes. Her smile. My heart clenched as I remembered watching that smile disappear from her face just minutes ago. My heart cracked with each page flip, with each selca until the last page. A letter, a letter from her.
Jagiya! Happy White Day! These past few weeks we haven’t been able to talk much because we were too busy preparing for our comebacks. I’m sorry. But it’s worth it to show our best on stage right? Oppa, I’ll work hard if you do! Jagi, I’ve missed you, but when I look at the ring you gave me, I’m better because I know oppa loves me. Actually, I wish I could do something special for you too. That’s why I composed a song just for you! There should be a cd with the song on it. Listen to it whenever you miss me but can’t reach me okay? I love you~ You love me too right? To me Hoya is irreplaceable in my heart.
She loved me. She had always loved me, and what did I do? I cheated on her and threw her away. I found the cd and went to my room. I put it in my laptop and played it. Her voice came out.
“Oppa~ I guess if you’re listening to this you miss me right? Well here’s the song.” The music started and I could barely breathe. It was beautiful. I laid back on my bed as I pulled something out of my pocket. Her ring. I stared at it as the song continued to play, and tears rolled down my face again. Lee Howon, you’re an idiot for letting her go, I thought to myself. When the song ended, I moved to replay it, but I stopped dead in my tracks. Her voice came out again.
“I love you Lee Howon.” I fell apart at the sound of her words, the meaning behind her words. I kept replaying that one part over and over as I held the ring against my chest. I wished I could take it all back. I wish I could have her back.
“I’m so sorry _____.” I choked out. “I’m so sorry. I love you.” Words I no longer had the right to say.
*I just had to write Hoya’s point of view. It just screamed to be written. Thank you for reading! Please stay tuned to see what happens next! Feedback, comments, questions? Just go to my ask box. Bye~*
It was 9 o’ clock and you were waiting for Hoya in disguise. You borrowed Nayoung’s school uniform and wore glasses to look like an innocent high schooler. Your hair was tied back into a ponytail and you were fidgetting as you waited. You wanted to keep your emotions in check. You didn’t want to cry, you didn’t want to just explode with anger, you didn’t want to feel hurt. Not yet anyways. Hoya walked in and you plastered another smile on your face, trying to look as innocent as possible.
“Oppa,” you said. He turned and smiled as he began to walk over. You stood as he came closer.
“Jagi, Happy White Day,” he said, holding out a box. You took it and opened it to reveal an Infinite necklace. Your heart skipped a beat. Maybe I just misunderstood, maybe I was seeing things, you thought, but the weight of your phone suddenly felt heavy in your pocket. What you saw earlier was real, and you had proof.
“Wow, thank you,” you said, closing the lid. Hoya moved to hug you but you dodged and sat down. Hoya looked puzzled for a second before sitting across from you.
“So, what did you want to tell me jagi?” he asked. It hurt to hear him call you, “jagi.”
“Actually, I have a question,” you said, trying to keep your voice calm.
“Okay, what’s your question?”
“After singing our new song, it really got me thinking about some things, and it started to bother me. So, oppa, tell me, would you ever…cheat on me?” Hoya looked stunned for a moment before flashing a smile.
“Why did you ask such a weird question?”
“Please, just answer me.” Hoya took your hand and held it as he looked you in the eyes.
“I love you _____-ah, and I would never do something like that. I would never hurt you.” But you already did, you thought.
“Would you ever lie to me?”
“Of course not.” It felt like your heart froze over as you heard him say that. You couldn’t believe it. He was lying straight to your face. You slowly pulled your hand away as you took out your phone with the other.
“Oh,” you said, smiling bitterly as you pulled up the picture. “Then what’s this?” The smile faded from your face as you held up the phone and showed Hoya the picture. The blood drained from his face as he looked at the picture, and then you. Guilt was written in his eyes. You put your phone away and pulled something else out of your pocket.
“Jagi, please let me explain,” he said, his voice cracking. You slammed the couple ring on the table and got up.
“You lost your chance to explain when you lied to my face,” you said. Before tears could fall, you ran out the cafe to find a familiar white car waiting for you. It was Kiseop.
“Get in ____-ah,” he said, opening the door. You did.
“Jagiya wait,” were the last words you heard Hoya say before you and Kiseop drove off.
***
You didn’t want to go home yet, so Kiseop drove you down to the Han River. Kiseop parked and turned off the engine. The two of you sat in silence for a while until Kiseop spoke.
“It’s okay to cry ____-ah,” he said, giving you a comforting pat. You sighed and got out the car. The night air calmed you as you walked down to the edge of the river. Kiseop followed and put a blanket on your shoulders. Before you could thank him, Kiseop wrapped his arms around you and that’s when your tears fell. You felt your heart shatter as the events of the day finally caught up to you. You cried and cried and Kiseop didn’t say a word. Instead he held you tighter as if he could prevent you from breaking all together. The two of you stayed like that for a long time until Kiseop’s phone rang. When Kiseop’s arms left, you tried your best to stand straight, not realizing how much support he had given you.
“Hello?” Kiseop answered. “Yes hyung, I’m with her…No, she’s fine…Okay I will…Bye hyung,” Kiseop hung up and turned to you. “That was your manager. He said I should bring you back soon. You have a busy day tomorrow.” You wiped away your remaining tears.
“Okay, let’s go,” you managed to say. You were making your way back to the car when Kiseop stopped you.
“Are you going to be okay ___-ah?” he asked. You nodded. You both got into the car and Kiseop drove you home.
***
Minutes later, Kiseop was parked outside of your building.
“I should probably go,” you said, removing the blanket. “I have to give Nayoung her uniform back.” You moved to open the door but Kiseop stopped you.
“I’m not letting you go until you give me a genuine smile,” he said. You smiled but he shook his head. “Come on ____-ah, give me a smile.” Kiseop started doing aegyo and you eventually laughed despite your best efforts to hold it in.
“Now you can go _____-ah,” he said, as he ruffled your hair. You got out the car, closed the door and looked at Kiseop.
“Thank you Kiseop-oppa,” you said. “Goodnight. Have fun in Japan.” UKISS was leaving for Japan tomorrow morning. You waved and he waved back. Kiseop didn’t drive away until you got into the building. You walked up the stairs, preparing yourself to tell the members what really happened today.
A month later…
“Thank you,” the members said as they exited the stage after rehearsal. today was you M!Countdown Comeback stage and you were hyper. Not only was it your comeback, but it was the White Day Special. You had prepared a gift for Hoya: a notebook filled with translations of his favorite English songs, photos of his many disguises, and a cd. You even wrote him a letter, telling him how much he meant to you. You hoped the gift would bring the two of you closer as Hoya had become a bit distant over the last few weeks. You didn’t think much of it because Infinite had been preparing for their comeback too.
After telling the memebers where you were going, you made your way towards Infinite’s waiting room. You knocked on the door as you hid the gift behind your back. Sungjong answered.
“Oh, annyeong ____-ah,” Sungjong greeted you. “It’s been so long.”
“Annyeong Sungjong-ah,” you said with a smile. “Is Hoya here?” Sungjong looked concerned for a brief moment before flashing a smile.
“Nope, Hoya-hyung stepped out for a bit. He should be back soon,” Sungjong replied. “Do you want to come in and wait for him?”
“No thanks, I should get back to my members,” you replied. “Annyeong Sungjong-ah.” You walked away as Sungjong closed the door. You were about to turn the corner when you suddenly ran into Sunggyu.
“Oh ____-ah,” Sunggyu said. You stepped back a bit.
“Oh, sorry about that Sunggyu-ssi,” you apologized. You tried to step around him, but he blocked your way.
“Where are you headed ____-ah?” Sunggyu asked.
“Back to my members,” you tried to step around him again, but he blocked your way again.
“Oh, I know another way. Come on,” Sunggyu tried to lead the other way, but you ducked your way out.
“It’s okay Sunggyu-ssi,” you said as you rounded the corner. “I’ll just go th-,” You suddenly realized why Sunggyu was trying to lead you the other way. There was a girl leaning against the wall holding hands with a guy that stood in front of her. And that guy was Hoya.
“Happy White Day jagi,” the girl said. And she kissed him. You felt a stab at your chest as your blood ran cold. Please pull away, you thought to yourself, don’t let this be true. But he didn’t. Instead he leaned in. You turned back around the corner with Sunggyu still there.
“Mian ____-ah,” he said. You didn’t cry, instead you went numb.
“How long?” you asked. Sunggyu sighed.
“A few weeks…Mianhae ____-ah,” he said.
”_____-ah,” you looked up to see Kiseop waving and walking over. His smile faded when you looked up and his walk turned into a run.
“Ya, are you okay?” What’s wrong?” he asked holding your shoulders and looking into your eyes. You pointed towards the corner. Kiseop looked and became tense.
“Sunggyu-ssi,” you managed to say. “Is there really another way back?” Sunggyu nodded.
“I’ll take you,” Sunggyu lead the way as you and Kiseop followed.
”_____-ah, I’ll take care of it,” Kiseop said. He moved to turn back but you stopped him.
“Don’t Kiseop-ah,” you said. “I will later. Don’t worry.” You left with Sunggyu, leaving Kiseop and him behind. When you and Sunggyu reached you waiting room door, Sunggyu turned to you.
“Are you going to be okay ___-ah?” he asked. You nodded. He gave you a comforting pat on the shoulders.
“Sunggyu-ssi, can you do me a favor?” you asked. He nodded. You handed him the box with Hoya’s gift in it. “Could you throw this away for me?” Sunggyu nodded again and took the box. You felt like a weight had been lifted. Sunggyu walked away as you opened the door to your waiting room. You plastered a smile on your face.
***
“We’ll give you spirit! Annyeonghasaeyo, SPIRIT-imnida!” the members greeted the audience. The members got into position and soon the song began. As you performed, the numb feeling you had turned to anger. You danced and sang with more energy and power then before. The lyrics of the song and what you witnessed with Hoya matched perfectly in you as you performed. After the performance and after thanking the audience, the members exited the stage and headed towards the waiting room.
”_____-ah, that was amazing,” Hannah said. “What happened?”
“I don’t know,” you replied with an innocent smile. “I guess the lyrics really spoke to me.” You pulled out your phone to text Hoya.
“Happy White Day! Can we go to the cafe? I need to tell you something in person. I’ll wear the disguise this time.” Your phone vibrated from a text. It was Kiseop.
“I think you’ll need this for later.”
He sent you a picture, and you felt a stab at your heart again. Kiseop sent you proof, and he was right. You did need it for later.
*Ack! I’m sorry! *heart breaking* Thank you for reading through anyways. Stay tuned if you want. Bye~*
3 months later…
You and the members were at the set of the new music video for the title song, “Just Go (I’ll Be Fine).” This time, you were going to be the main character. The story was simple. You were in love with your boyfriend and you believed everything was going well until you find out that he’s been cheating on you. You’re able to say, “just go” as you reflect back and realize what a horrible boyfriend he has been all along. This song represented SPIRIT’s 180 degree flip as you all went from being cute, innocent girls to becoming charasmatic goddesses.
You were fidgetting in the make-up chair as the stylist was putting the finishing touches on your hair. Despite having dance practice until 1 am and reporting to the music video set at 5 this morning, you were wide awake. You were waiting for your onscreen boyfriend to show up.
“Okay ____-ah, you’re done,” the stylist said. You hopped off.
“Thank you unni,” you said. That was when the director called you over.
”____-ah, come meet your boyfriend for the day,” he called. You managed to run over in your heels. As you got closer, you began to start recognizing your onscreen boyfriend. It was Hoya, your real boyfriend.
”____, meet your boyfriend, Infinite’s Hoya,” the director introduced. “Hoya, meet SPIRIT’s ____.”
“Annyeonghasaeyo,” you both said in unison.
“I’ll give you two a minute to get to know each other before we start,” the director said before walking away.
“Oppa, what are you doing here?” you whispered. Hoya smiled.
“I couldn’t let my girlfriend film with some other guy,” he said. “Besides, I haven’t seen you in so long.” That was true. Both of you were busy preparing for comebacks that were scheduled for the same day.
“Okay, are we ready to shoot?” the director asked. You both nodded. The director explained the story again and you and Hoya started acting like a couple.
***
By 6 o’ clock, you and Hoya were done with the story scenes and you were getting ready for the dance portion of the mv. As soon as you were done, you stepped onto the dancing set. The members got into position and after the director called action, the music started playing and you all began the routine. The moves were sharp and powerful, but what was really important was the execution of the general emotion in the song. The anger from the unexpected betrayal and the confidence in moving on had to be shown through facial expressions. Hoya left after you and the members had run through the dance three times already.
“Thank you for your hard work today,” he said while you and the members were taking a break. Hoya smiled and waved at you before leaving. “SPIRIT fighting!” And with that he was gone.
***
By 12 am, the shooting was done and you and the members were tired.
“Thank you for your hard work today,” you all said in unison before leaving. “This has been SPIRIT! Thank you!” The members filed into the van and all sighed.
“Finally, we’re done,” Nayoung said as she slouched against the chair. You checked your phone and found messages from Hoya.
“Aigoo, my jagiya is a great dancer. Goodnight ____-ah, I love you.”
“Sweet dreams Hoaegi. I love you too~”
As soon as you and the members got home, you all removed the make-up and got ready for bed. Exhaustion hit you like a ton of bricks as you fell asleep as soon as your head hit the pillow.

“Wow, look at the water,” Amy said, sticking her head out the window. Your managers had come to pick you all up at 9 this morning. After hearing about the beach trip the managers decided to give you a 2 days 1 night trip. They even booked the members all rooms at a nearby resort. Now, you were all in the van, headed to the beach after checking in at the resort. Once parked, Nayoung ran out and headed straight for the water. You and the other memers ran after her, yelling in joy.
“Wa! I haven’t been to the beach since becoming a trainee,” Nayoung said as she dipped her feet into the water. You dipped your feet in too and felt the chill of the cold water. The weather was nice today. It was hot, but the breeze made it feel just right. You looked around to find the members scattered all around the place. Nayoung, Vicki, and Amy were splashing each other in the water. Hannah and Hyuna were sunbathing but you knew that they both lathered on tons of sunscreen in the car. You joined Jane in building sandcastles.
“You guys, come on, the water’s great!” Vicki called. Amy was walking towards you and Jane as Nayoung walked towards Hannah and Hyuna. Both with their hands behind their backs.
“Ya, Amy, what are you doing?” Jane asked, smiling.
“I just want to show you guys how nice the water is,” she said with a sweet smile. Amy turned to look in Nayoung’s direction and nodded before facing you again. A sense of suspicion came over you, but before you could act Amy revealed a bucket and splashed water on you and Jane. You recovered and found Amy running back towards the water.
“You’re dead!” you screamed as you, Jane, Hannah and Hyuna ran towards the water. A water war was about to begin.
***
By the end of the day, the members were all tired out. You were all in Hannah, Vicki, and Hyuna’s side of the adjoining rooms. You, Jane, Amy and Nayoung had the other side. You all had just finished dinner and were relaxing on the beds.
“Hey, I heard there’s something going on in the patio tonight,” Vicki said sitting up. “You guys want to go and check it out?”
“Sure, let’s go,” Amy said. You followed as all the members left the room and headed towards the patio. Once there, you saw that the patio overlooked the ocean and twinkling lights decorated the rails. You looked up to see the star filled sky and the bright moon, but really caught your attention was a white curtain at the end and the fact that no one else was there.
“There’s no one he-,” you stopped midsentence as a countdown showed up on the screen. Your members pushed you to sit down in a chair that was directly in the center as they sat around you. After one, Infinite’s logo showed up on the white curtain and you gasped. The video you shot with Infinite at the amusement park started playing. As the video played, you watched as Sungjong ran in to ruin the moment between you and Hoya. That was when Sungjong stepped out from the side of the curtain smiling. As the members showed up on the screen, so they came out. You were surprised and confused at the same time. When the video ended, Hoya stepped through the curtain holding roses. You stood as he walked towards you smiling. Hoya gave you the flowers just as music started playing. It was Infinite’s “In the Summer.” The members of Infinite sang as you just stood there listening. You were so surprised you couldn’t even move, let alone speak. When the song was over, Hoya walked back towards you.
“How are you guys even here? How did you put this together?” you managed to ask. Hoya smiled.
“I wanted to surprise you jagi,” he said. “I’ve been planning this out with your members for a while now. And when we came back this morning, we all headed straight here. I couldn’t let out one year anniversary pass without doing something special. Did you like it?”
“I loved it,” you replied. “Thank you jagiya. But I feel lousy because your gift is at home.”
“It’s fine, besides, this is not all I wanted to give you.” Hoya pulled a box out of his pocket. Your heart skipped a beat. Hoya saw your expression and smiled. “I’m not proposing, but I wanted to give you something to show you how I feel. To represent what I was to say.” He opened the box to reveal couple rings. He took your hand and placed the ring on your finger. It fit perfectly. Hoya looked you in the eyes.
“I love you ____-ah. Happy anniversary.” He kissed you sweetl.
“I love you too,” you said as a happy tear rolled down your face. It was the first time either of you had ever said it, but it was the best time for it too. You kissed Hoya again. You pulled away as he wrapped his arms around your waist and you buried your face into his chest.
“Happy Anniversary!” everyone cheered.
*Happy Anniversary! Thank you for reading! Please stay tuned to see what happens next! Bye~*
6 months later…
“Thank you, this has been SPIRIT!” the members said after the performance. It was your Inkigayo goodbye stage of the second round of SPIRIT’s promotions. As the members got off the stage, you couldn’t help but feel a bit said. You loved the stage, and having to say goodbye after having back to back promotions was difficult. But the thought of having a week off with the members brightened your mood. The company was giving you a week off in celebration of your one year anniversay. But having a one year anniversary with SPIRIT also meant something else. Your one year anniversary with Hoya. Unfortunately, Infinite was promoting in Japan and wouldn’t be back for another month. You and Hoya still kept in contact through video chats despite protests from members. You were happy.
After filming thank you videos for the fans for their support over the past year, you and the members finally got home. Nayoung and Amy immediately threw down their bags down on the floor and threw themselves onto the couch. You and the other members put the bags into the rooms before sitting by the couch. You sat next to Hannah on the floor.
“This is great,” Hannah said, leaning back against the couch. “We have a week of no schedules or dance practice or vocal practice. We’re free to do whatever we want for a week!”
“What should we do tomorrow?” Jane asked.
“Let’s go shopping,” Hyuna suggested.
“With what money?” Hannah replied. Hyuna frowned.
“You know, since coming to Korea, I’ve never been to the beach,” Vicki said.
“Me either,” Amy added.
“Me too,” you said. You, Vicki and Amy were the foreigners in the group and all any of you had seen of Korea was Seoul.
“Actually the beach sounds like fun,” Nayoung said.
“Okay then, who wants to go to the beach?” Hannah asked. All of the members raised their hands. “It’s settled then, SPIRIT is going to the beach!” Everyone cheered.
After a dinner of jajangmyeon/black bean paste noodles, the members were getting ready for tomorrow’s trip and for bed. You were putting your packed bag by the door when Jane called for you.
”____-ah,” she called from the room. “Your laptop’s beeping!” You ran into the room.
“Thanks Jane,” you said as she left the room and closed the door behind her. You opened your laptop and answered the video call. It was Hoya.
“Oppa!” you said. Hoya smiled. His hair was wet and he was wearing his favorite purple t-shirt and a towel dangled around his neck.
“Jagi, what are you doing?” he asked.
“Getting ready for our trip tomorrow.”
“A trip? Where are you guys going?”
“To the beach,” you replied enthusiastically. Hoya laughed.
“Oh really?” You nodded. “Are you going to wear a bikini?”
“Ya, oppa! What kind of question is that?” You blushed.
“Hey I have to know. You’re my girlfriend, I don’t want other guys to see you like that.”
“Okay oppa.”
“I’m in Japan, so I can’t ward other guys off so cover up okay?”
“I will jagi.”
“Promise?”
“Promise.”
“Oh, annyeong ____-ah,” Sungjong said when he came into view.
“Annyeonghasaeyo Sungjong-ah,” you said.
“Well I better get going. We have a big day tomorrow,” Hoya said.
“Okay. Goodnight jagiya,” you said waving.
“Sweet dreams jagi!” Hoya smiled and waved.
“Goodnight ____-ah,” Sungjong said before Hoya logged off. A knock came from the door as Jane peeked in.
“Is it safe now?” she teased. You smiled as you shut off your computer and showed her the proof. “Okay, let’s get some sleep so we can have energy to play tomorrow.” You put your laptop down and ducked under your blanket. You were excited for tomorrow. You fell asleep with a smile on your face.

6 months later..
It was your six month anniversay with Hoya and you were fidgetting as you waited for him at the cafe. Today, convieniently, was also the first day off you and Hoya shared. Hoya had called yesterday to ask you out.
”____-ah,” he said. “Are you free tomorrow?”
“Yeah, I have the day off,” you replied.
“Yay! Jagi, let’s spend the day together!”
“Okay, where does my Hoaegi want to go?”
“Haha, don’t worry ___-ah, oppa will take care of everything.”
“But where -.”
“Don’t worry jagi. Just meet me at our cafe tomorrow morning at 8 okay?”
“Okay.”
“See you tomorrow jagi!”
“Bye oppa.” So now here you were, sitting in the cafe at 8:10 am with no sign of Hoya. You were about to call him when suddenly Hoya came in through the dorr with no disguise. He walked towards you.
“Annyeong ____-ah,” he said casually.
“Why aren’t you in disguise or something,” you asked, panic rising in your chest.
“Don’t worry ____-ah,” he said holding your hand. “I have things all figured out.” Hoya walked out of the cafe with you to follow. When the both of you got outside, you noticed Infinite’s manager standing in front of the van.
“Oh, why’s your manager here?” you asked as Hoya pulled you towards the van.
“Jagi,” he said, stopping in front of you to look you in the eyes. “Don’t worry, I have everything figured out, okay?” Hoya kissed you on the forehead before opening the van door.
”____-ah,” Sungjong greeted as you stepped in.
“Oh, Sungjong!” He smiled. Sungjong and Dongwoo were in the van. You greeted both of them as Hoya got in and closed the door. Infinite’s manager got in and off you all went.
“Hoya, did you tell her yet?” Dongwoo asked, leaning forward.
“Tell me what,” you asked looking at Dongwoo and then Hoya. Hoya sighed.
“Hyung! It was supposed to be a surprise!” Hoya said frustrated.
”____-ah, we’re going to -,” Sungjong started.
“We’re going to the amusement park,” Hoya finished smiling at you. “And the other members are coming too.”
“Oh, really?” you asked.
“Yup, you see, I figured that if it looked like we were shooting a music video, we wouldn’t have to worry about the press finding out about us.”
“Oppa, that’s brilliant!” you smiled. Hoya smiled back, and squeezed your hand.
“Hyung, why aren’t you as nice to us as you are to ____?” Sungjong asked.
“Because she’s my girlfriend and you’re not.”
“Ya, I thought we had something special,” Dongwoo joked.
“I’m sorry hyung, but I’ve found someone else,” Hoya played along. Dongwoo laughed which got everyone else laughing. The rest of the car ride consisted of casual conversations and laughs. Out of all the Infinite members, you were most comfortable with Sungjong and Dongwoo. They were just easy to talk to.
When you all got to the amusement park, everyone filed out of the van and found the rest of the Infinite members waiting at the gate.
“Annyeonghasaeyo,” you greeted all of them.
”____-ah, you’re here,” Sungyeol greeted. He came in for a hug but Hoya pushed him away.
“No, she’s mine,” Hoya said, hugging you. You laughed as the other members cringed.
”____-ah, you know why we’re here right?” Sunggyu asked.
“Music video right?” you asked. L pulled out a video camera from behind his back.
“Infinite’s music video, by Infinite,” L said, smiling.
“The video is about a fun date with you and Hoya,” Woohyun said, “while the other members try to mess things up.”
“Come on, come on,” Dongwoo said making his way in.
“Let’s go,” everyone shouted. Hoya held your hand and the two of you walked in. L pointed the camera at the two of you.
“Ready,” he started. “Action!”
“To UKISS,” everyone cheered and clanked their glasses together. You, the members, UKISS, and the managers were all standing around and chatting in the NH Media lobby as UKISS’s song played in the background. A streamer hung from the ceiling with “Congratulations!” and an array of fruits, drinks and desserts were all spread out on a table in the center of the room. You looked around to find UKISS members chatting enthusiastically with your members until Kiseop came around taking pictures.
“Kiseop-ah, what are you doing?” Hoon asked after posing for a picture.
“What does it look like I’m doing?” Kiseop teased. “I’m taking pictures so that I can remember this day.” Kiseop took another picture of Hoon before setting his camera down to pour himself a drink. You swept in and grabbed his camera and pretended to be paparazzi.
“Kiseop-ssi, Kiseop-ssi,” you called as you snapped photos of him. “What will you do now that you’ve won an award?” Kiseop smiled and played along as he started to pose.
“Well first, I’m going to get my camera back from my annoying dongsaeng,” Kiseop joked. You started running as Kiseop chased you. Kevin noticed and joined in on the fun.
”______-ah! Give it to me!” Kevin said waving his arms. You laughed and ran toward him. Just as you placed the camera in Kevin’s hands, Kiseop wrapped his arms around your waist and twirled you. You screamed and laughed.
“Mehrong!” Kevin teased before dashing off.
“Darn it,” Kiseop said, dropping you. He turned to look at you and smiled. “I’ll deal with you later.” Kiseop ran off after Kevin as you stood laughing at Kiseop’s attempts to get his camera back. You were about to walk back over to join your members until your phone started ringing. It was Hoya.
“Hello?” you answered as you made your way outside for more privacy.
“Jagiya,” Hoya said. “Are you busy?”
“Actually, yes I am,” you replied letting the door shut behind you. “The members and I are celebrating with UKISS on their win. The managers and the company set it all up.”
“Oh really?”
“Yeah.”
“Okay then _____-ah. Go have fun! I’ll see you tomorrow okay?”
“Okay oppa.”
“Oh, and one more thing ____-ah.”
“What is it oppa?”
“I just wanted to remind you that…I like you.” You smiled. If Hoya were here with you in person, he would be blushing.
“I like you too.”
“Okay then, I’ll let you go. Sleep well ____-ah.”
“Sweet dreams oppa,” you said with a smile. Before you even dropped the phone from your ear there was a flash. You turned in surprise only to find Kiseop leaning against the door with his camera in his hand.
“Oh, it’s just you oppa,” you sighed. “You scared me.” Kiseop smirked and made his way towards you.
“You really like him don’t you ____-ah,” Kiseop asked.
“Yeah…I do,” you replied shyly. Kiseop stopped right in front of you and smiled.
“As your oppa, I just want you to be happy. But as your oppa, I don’t want to see you get hurt either.” Kiseop bent down to be the same eye level as you. “Promise me you’ll be careful ____-ah.”
“I promise Kiseop-oppa,” you said. Kiseop smiled and ruffled your hair as he stood straight.
“Ya! Oppa!” You tried to fix your hair.
“I told you I’d get you later didn’t I?” Kiseop said. “Mehrong!” He ran into the building with you chasing after him.

As you got ready for bed, your phone vibrated from a new text. It was from Kiseop.
“Oh, I almost forgot. If he hurts you ____-ah, oppa will take care of it.”
“Ya, oppa! What are you talking about?”
“keke. Goodnight ___-ah.”
You smiled, not realizing how much you had missed Kiseop’s goodnight texts.
“Goodnight Kiseop-oppa!”
You placed your phone next to your pillow and laid back. Everything was better now. You had the boyfriend of your dreams and a supporting best guy friend. You were one lucky girl.
